TLDR

Avatar System

  • The Cool Cats Avatar system released for Cool Cat and Shadow Wolf holders on October 19, and allows community members to customize, dress up, and share their redesigned assets in an instant. We prepared a 60-second tutorial for new members, which can be viewed here.
  • Our Spooky Box, full of halloween-themed assets, sold out in 6 hours. The ability to use your own Cool Cats assets, the instant PFP update feature, and the upcoming release of Explorers are just a few of the many incredible features in our system!
  • We gave away 10 Spooky Boxes to the winners of our Avatars in the Wild contest.

Eternals Reveal

  • There were only 12 survivors from the Dark Star Elders upgrade process. Meet the Eternals. 👑Born from the elements, they’ve emerged with unrivaled power, unmatched by any other in the SideKX universe. Check out the revealed 1/1 SideKX here!

Cool Cats on Socials

  • Clon appeared on multiple media outlets including community-led podcasts “Sit Down with Sniper” and “Non-Refungible Network”, as well as Decential Media’s Spaces on “The Infinite Web3 Art Frontier”.
  • Cool Cats team members met up at an undisclosed location for a secret event. What could it be for? 👀
  • Community members Danny and 2F were honored for their contributions to the Cool Cats Community, and were awarded Cool Cat and Shadow Wolf of the Week respectively.

Town Hall

  • We held an open-forum style Town Hall meeting in Discord on October 26th where we discussed the Avatar System launch, Discord updates, and upcoming events in Hong Kong and New York City.

Avatar System

At Cool Cats, we believe that a digital identity that accurately and authentically represents you is paramount. To help ensure everyone finds their authentic digital identity, we created the Cool Cats Avatar system, which was released for Cool Cat and Shadow Wolf holders on October 19.

The Avatar system currently allows community members to customize, dress up, and share their Cool Cats and Shadow Wolves. Later this year, we will be releasing Explorers, which will serve as the default base avatar character for new users entering the Cool Cats ecosystem through any of our activations. We prepared a 60-second tutorial on the Avatar System for new members, which can be viewed below!

Boxes of additional wearable assets can be purchased from our official website using fiat currency or ETH and sold on the secondary market, while more assets will be added over time to commemorate seasons, holidays, and special events. Our first Spooky Box, full of halloween-themed assets, sold out in 6 hours.

Thanks to the Avatar System, the Cool Cats community has been at an all-time creative high. To reward our most creative members, we gave away 10 of our sold-out Spooky Boxes to members who entered our Avatars in the Wild Contest. Holders designed their Cool Cat or Shadow Wolf to their liking, then dressed up like their character in real life, and uploaded the side-by-side images to Twitter/X. The ability to use your own Cool Cats assets, the instant PFP update feature, and the upcoming release of Explorers are just the start for what we want to do with this system, so stay tuned for more details as the system continues to evolve.

Eternals Reveal

As part of the SideKX launch, we revealed the twelve 1/1 SideKX that emerged from the minting process, called the Eternals. Born from the elements, they’ve emerged with unrivaled power, unmatched by any other in the SideKX universe. Each character features a hand-crafted design unlike any others in the collection. Check out all the revealed 1/1 SideKX below! 

Cool Cats on Social Media

With the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade just around the corner, Clon has been helping build anticipation for the big day, as well as sharing future plans for the Cool Cats. Clon was the featured guest in community-led podcasts “Sit Down with Sniper” and “Non-Refungible Network”, and was a special guest on Decential Media’s Spaces where he discussed “The Infinite Web3 Art Frontier”.

Members of the team also met up at an undisclosed location for a secret event. Speculation abounds as to the details of this event, but we can confirm that the end result of this trip was a big success! Stay tuned to our social media channels for more details about the event and everything we’re celebrating in November.

We would be nothing without our incredible community, and we want to continue to celebrate those high-achieving members who go the extra mile for the Cool Cats. This month, community members Danny and 2F were honored for their creative contributions to the Cool Cats Community, and were awarded Cool Cat and Shadow Wolf of the Week respectively.

Town Hall

We hosted another open forum Town Hall in Discord on October 26, where we excitedly discussed the Avatar system at length, as well as upcoming changes to the structure of the Discord, and additional details for our Thanksgiving celebration in New York City. 

We are also continuing to expand our global reach thanks to the efforts of Community Council member Subvert, who is hosting a Cool Cats Dinner during ApeFest on November 6th. Cool Cats are proud sponsors of the event, and we can’t wait to see our international community celebrating together.
